Precinct Committee Person (PCP)

From our Bylaws: 5.2 MEMBERSHIP:  The Party Precinct Committee Persons of Douglas County shall constitute the Central Committee. Precinct Committee Persons shall be elected in the manner provided by Oregon law. Oregon law requires a person receive at least three votes during a Primary Election and be a registered Oregon Democrat for at least six months prior to the filing date. A person may be appointed as a Precinct Committee Person by election at a Central Committee meeting. He/She must be present at said meeting or submit a written request. A Committee person may resign by written notice to the Central Committee Secretary or be recalled in the manner provided by State Law.
