SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY!

Did you know we get no funding from the larger Democratic Party? The only way to help your local democrats is to donate here.  We are extremely grateful for every dollar you donate!

The Democratic Party of Douglas County is an all-volunteer organization but we need your support to keep our office open, support our candidates, buy campaign materials, office supplies, pay postage, etc.

CREDIT CARD DONATIONS

We have two options for credit card donations. First is ActBlue, see next box for second option.

If you already have recurring donations and want to increase your monthly amount please do the following:  Sign into your ActBlue account. See Contributions listed on the left. Under it is Recurring. Click that. In the Active list, click on Douglas County Democratic Party.  Click Edit Contribution. Click on that and you can increase your monthly recurring donation amount. Click Save

CREDIT CARD DONATIONS

Our second option is what DPO uses: NGP VAN.

Either way the money is deposited into our account within a few days.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Campaign finance law requires us to collect your occupation, employer, and employer's address. If you are retired, self-employed, or not employed, please use your home address.

Contribution rules:

  • You must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).

  • The contribution must be made from your own funds, and funds cannot be provided to you by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.

  • You must be at least eighteen years old.

Free money! Oregon provides a tax credit of $50 per taxpayer ($100 for joint-filers), per year, for donations to political parties. Not a tax deduction, mind you, but a tax credit that is like free money you can give to the Democratic Party of Douglas County. If you already gave, thank you; and don't forget to claim it when you file in April. Note: if you make more than $75,000 per year or more than $150,000 for joint filers, you are not eligible, but we'd still love a donation!
