Every two years, each county party must hold an  Organizing Meeting to determine their leaders for the next two years. We  will be holding ours on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. at Abby's Annex. The ONLY purpose of this meeting is to elect the  following party officers and delegates. Officers are: Chair, Vice Chair,  Treasurer and Secretary.

The Secretary position can be shared between  two people with duties divided into Recording Secretary and  Corresponding Secretary.  Delegates represent us at the party’s State  Central Committee (SCC) and two Congressional District (CD) Committees,  as follows:  SCC(3), D4 (3), and CD (2). Each of these positions also  has a corresponding number of alternates.

If you are interested in being an officer or  delegate, please get in contact with us ASAP. There are specific  requirements and job duties you must be able to commit to in order to be  an effective party leader. Even if you have not done this kind of thing  before, please consider it. We have the resources to help you learn.
