Be an Active Democrat
Here are some ways you can help to promote the Democratic Party in the county:
- Become a Precinct Committee Person (PCP), one of the primary contacts for all Democrats in your precinct.
- Find out more about PCPs.
- Attend the monthly Central Committee meetings.
- Volunteer to help staff our office for a few hours each week or month.
- Add your name to our e-mail list.
- Work on one of the following standing committees:
- Ways and Means: helps develop budget and initiates fundraising activities. Contact Sara Byers 541-672-8094.
- Resolution and Platform: prepares position papers and recommends actions to the Central Committee. Contact Dean Byers 541-672-8094.
- Organization: recruits and trains precinct persons. Contact Lorna Hayden 541-733-1115.
- Recruitment: identifies, encourages and counsels prospective Democratic candidates for public office. Contact Democratic Office 541-672-8803.
